WeFact Dashboard Customizer ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the Extension handles data.

Extension Features

The Extension allows you to customize your WeFact dashboard by:

• Toggling between classic table view and tabbed view
• Reordering invoice tables to match your workflow
• Showing or hiding the company statistics section
• Saving your preferences automatically

Dashboard Preferences

What we store locally: Your dashboard customization preferences including table order, statistics visibility, and view mode settings.

This preference data is:

• Stored locally in your Chrome browser
• Never transmitted to our servers
• Only accessible by the Extension itself
• Can be synced across your Chrome browsers if Chrome Sync is enabled (handled by Chrome, not by us)

Permissions Explained

storage

• Purpose: To save your activation status and dashboard layout preferences
• Usage: Stores your preferences locally in your browser

host_permissions (www.mijnwefact.nl)

• Purpose: To modify the dashboard layout on WeFact
• Usage: Only activates on www.mijnwefact.nl to restructure the dashboard UI
• Limitation: Cannot access any other websites or your WeFact data

host_permissions (stream.delivery)

• Purpose: To send your email address during one-time activation
• Usage: Makes a single POST request to our registration endpoint
• Limitation: Only used once during initial setup

What Data is NOT Collected

The Extension does NOT:

• Access your WeFact account credentials
• Read your invoice data or financial information
• Track your browsing history
• Use cookies or tracking pixels
• Monitor your usage of the extension after activation
• Contain analytics or telemetry beyond the one-time registration

Data Security

We take data security seriously:

• Preferences are stored locally using Chrome's secure storage API
• No sensitive financial or personal data is accessed
• Server access is restricted and monitored

Third-Party Services

The Extension uses:

• stream.delivery - Our own server for registration (not a third-party service)
• No other external services, analytics, or APIs

Children's Privacy

The Extension does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Unsubscribe from update notifications at any time (contact us)
• Request deletion of your email from our registration log (contact us)
• Remove the Extension at any time through Chrome's extension management
• Clear stored preferences by removing and reinstalling the Extension
• View locally stored data through Chrome DevTools

Email Address Collection

One-Time Registration

During the initial activation process, you are required to provide your email address.

Purpose

Your email address is collected for:

• Extension activation and registration
• Sending notifications about important updates and new features
• Informing you about improvements and functionality changes
• Maintaining a user count and registration log

How It's Stored

• Sent to our server at stream.delivery
• Logged in a CSV file with timestamp
• Stored locally in your Chrome browser for activation verification

How It's Used

• To send you updates about new features and improvements
• To notify you of important changes or bug fixes
• We do NOT sell, rent, or share your email with third parties
• We do NOT send promotional or marketing emails unrelated to the extension
• You can request removal from our mailing list at any time

Data Retention

Email addresses are stored indefinitely in our registration log for communication and record-keeping purposes. Preference data is stored locally in your browser until you uninstall the extension or clear Chrome data.

Consent

By installing and using the WeFact Dashboard Customizer extension and providing your email address during activation, you consent to this Privacy Policy, the collection of your email address, and receiving occasional updates about the extension as described.
